Café Playa Negra

Península de Nicoya

These stylish, minimalist digs upstairs from the cafe have polished-concrete floors, elevated beds dressed with colorful bedspreads, and other artistic touches. There's a shared deck with comfy hammock chairs and an inviting swimming pool. The downstairs cafe, open all day (closed Tuesday, though), is worth a stop no matter where you are sleeping. Sample delectable sandwiches and Peruvian seafood dishes.
