This property is completely off the grid and surrounded by forest, home to birds, monkeys and wildlife galore. Two new purpose-built bunk houses have mosquito-netted beds, communal kitchens and hammock-strung hangout lounges. Meals are available at the onsite restaurant.
Osa Jungle Hostel is 4km south of Puerto Jiménez. The Carate collectivo will drop you at the turnoff, from where it's a 1.5km walk uphill to the hostel. Or, call ahead to make arrangements for a pickup from the bus station.
