Cabinas & Café de la Suerte

Southern Costa Rica & Península de Osa

These three cabinas are colorful, with bold patterned linens and brightly painted walls. The upstairs rooms share the hammock-hung terrace, while the downstairs room has a secluded garden corner. The place is just 50m from the beach. From the supermarket crossroads, follow the beach road to the left.

Vegetarians are in luck at the attached Café de la Suerte, serving a menu of omelets and veggie dishes (homemade hummus, yes please). There's usually a daily special such as veggie burgers or lasagna, not to mention tropical-fruit smoothies and homemade brownies.
