Casa Zen

Mal País & Santa Teresa

This lovely Asian-inspired guesthouse is decked out in celestial murals and Buddha sculptures. The colorful but basic rooms share bathrooms and two fully equipped kitchens. Some guests have complained that the thin walls and passing traffic detract from the Zen atmosphere; we would argue that the noise is just an opportunity to practice more Zen. It's on the beach access road.
