This bright, kitschy lodge is well kept, the showers are hot and the owners will make you feel right at home. On a clear day the upstairs balconies have great views of the Golfo de Nicoya. There's a communal kitchen, and the common space is furnished with beanbags. The 'suite' in the blue house next door is worth the step up in price.
