'Quiet, clean and cheap,' said one guest, and the prices are indeed pretty sweet. Books, a chess set and groovy red couches populate the common area; the kitchen is ample and clean. Set in a quiet space a few blocks from the town center, with birdfeeder and BBQ, Pete's mantra is 'bed and breakfast: you make both.' Definitely old-school hosteling.
Pete's is the purple house with the amusing signage at the end of the block. There's a second location two blocks west of the bus terminal, which has more private rooms.
