Part of the Selina hostel empire, this latest edition was added in the fall of 2017 and has since become one of the best places to stay in town. It has a pool and bar overlooking Jacó's best surf break and nicely decorated rooms with cleverly thought out details. Options range from privates and dorms to Insta-worthy upcycled-concrete-cylinder rooms.
Facilities include a reading room with books and free-to-use guitars for guests, and a somewhat grubby communal kitchen. The bar and cafe serves a mean cocktail at happy hour, plus a small menu of bites, with items like fresh poke or shrimp and rice bowls. The breakfast is also decent. Selina's surf and SUP lessons (from US$50) are regarded as some of the best in town and come with a video deconstruction of the lesson you've just had, so you can improve your technique.
