Zona de Camping San Jorge

Villa de Leyva

Located approximately 2km northeast of town, this huge grassy field has lovely views of the surrounding mountains and space for 120 tents. Amenities include a small restaurant (meals COP$14,000 to COP$18,000) and shop, and spotless bathrooms with hot water.

It's a 25-minute walk from Plaza Mayor: walk north on Carrera 9, passing the Museo Paleontológico. At the T-intersection, turn right, then make an immediate left down the well-signed gravel road to the campground.
