San Gil
This hostel on one of the town's quieter streets is run by a pleasant Colombian-Swiss couple. There are decent dorms, a few bare-bones private rooms with shared bathrooms, and a grassy area out back for camping and hammocks. It's not luxurious, but it's a good no-frills choice reminiscent of the way hostels used to be.
