Perched on the side of the ridge on the edge of downtown, right next to the cable-car station, this hostel is a superb budget-traveler choice. Rooms are spotless, views from the fine rooftop bar are amazing, and the staff are wonderfully accommodating and superhelpful. Even the dorms come with private bathrooms.
