Video Club

Bogotá

Fortunately for club kids, the unfortunately named Video Club is much cooler than its name (and facade) suggest. The two-floor former warehouse space in Chapinero draws a vehemently mixed crowd, who mingle on the wood-accented ground floor to salsa and other Latin-infused experimental dance tunes before gravitating to the electronica-heavy 2nd floor, replete with brick archways and exposed rebar.

It's here, on a moonlit, open-air terrace, that some of Bogotá's trendiest clubbers – gay, straight, uncertain – shake it off until breakfast. Check ahead for info on gay Sunday parties on bank-holiday weekends.
