Cervecería Statua Rota

Bogotá

It once would have been odd to travel west of Av Caracas, but this Parkway microbrewery and bar attracts a fiercely dedicated army of beer-loving alt-hipsters content to swill house-brewed double red IPAs and summer Witbiers – often brewed with Colombian fruits and other local ingredients – to indie, alternative rock and metal until the wee hours.

The bar's cult status among those in the know is only perpetuated by the funky, uneven hexagonal wooden furniture that fills the two-floor converted mansion, all of which was produced at the in-house carpentry workshop.
