Calanoa Amazonas

Top choice in Amazon Basin

With just six gorgeously designed cabins, this tiny jungle lodge truly is a slice of paradise, and one of the few in the Amazon Basin that allows visitors to relax in style. Two activities per day are included, ranging from long jungle hikes to night walks, canoe trips and visits to nearby indigenous communities that the lodge supports.

If you want an even more immersive jungle experience, then you can sleep in a hanging tent with a protective vine roof and shared bathing facilities open to the elements. The delicious meals are comprised largely of ingredients grown right in the lodge's own garden.

For non-Spanish-speakers, a translator costs an extra US$70 per group per day, while one-way/round-trip private speedboat transfer from Leticia costs US$150/300 for up to four guests, including the pickup from Leticia's airport; alternatively, take the public boat.
