Featuring a mix of Chinese and European architectural styles, this beautiful and unusual mansion was built in the 1910s by a philanthropist. It’s now occupied by a nonprofit that promotes the area’s Chinese heritage. The house has a collection of traditional Chinese artefacts and a calligrapher is sometimes here to demonstrate ink-and-brush techniques. The building is gorgeous to look at but it was not open during opening hours at the time of research.
