At this thriving cafe next to shipyards, instant coffee is hand-whipped with sugar to create a peanut-buttery texture. The owner Mr Leong was a shipyard worker who built this shanty with old wood after an arm injury left him unfit for his job. Besides coffee (MOP$20), patrons enjoy egg sandwiches and noodles with Spam at shared tables in the semi-open space.
The cafe is a 15-minute walk north of Lord Stow's Bakery near the entrance to Coloane Village, past the Ponte Cais de Coloane pier and the shipyards of Lai Chi Vun Village. It's on the left side of the road.
