Gūsū Cài Guǎn

This small restaurant has a lovely setting overlooking the canal that runs alongside Pingjiang Lu, right next to a picturesque stone bridge and a traditional teahouse. The restaurant serves up traditional Suzhounese dishes designed for sharing, including sweet and sour squirrelfish (松鼠鱖魚, sōngshǔ guìyú) and fish caught in nearby Tai Lake.
