BlackSalt Tavern

Hong Kong

Black Salt is the friendly neighbourhood restaurant we'd all like to have around the corner. In 2018 it moved into a bigger space in Shek Tong Tsui and added a craft beer menu. Dishes are a delicious, accomplished mash-up of South Asian cuisines, including fancy Kathmandu momo dumplings, Sri Lankan kothu roti and Indian mattar paneer with melt-in-the-mouth homemade curds.

Note that dishes are designed to share, but if you're eating alone the excellent staff are happy to tailor a meal with smaller portions (and prices) so you can still try a variety of items on the menu. Service is split into two sittings.
