This family-run guesthouse has one of the nicest locations in Zhaoxing – at the quieter, eastern edge of the village – with fabulous views overlooking the rice terraces. Split across two locations, the original riverside location has slightly larger rooms while the nearby newer building has a wonderful rooftop seating area. Both have clean, comfortable ensuite rooms.
The guesthouse has a good restaurant with an English menu that serves up simple home cooking as well as a range of bottled wine and craft beers. The people who run the guesthouse are extremely friendly and can provide advice on what to do in the area (in Chinese) as well as a helpful map of Zhaoxing.
