Trip Smith

Top choice in Guiyang

Tucked down one of the many alleys off Qianling Dong Lu, Trip Smith is a small, happening bar that brews its own beer and serves better-than-average western fare, including pretty decent burgers (¥68). In warm months the outdoor seating area is packed with local beer lovers keen to sample the 10 brews on offer, including IPAs, stout, porter, bitter, pilsener and wheat beer.

Trip Smith was the first of Guiyang’s local breweries and is the most successful so far – beer brewed here can be found in bars across the city.
