Set a bit back from heaving Xijie is this hotel in a 270-year-old-plus building that was once part of a Jiangxi Guildhall (江西会馆). Elegant, swish rooms are stylishly and traditionally Chinese and modern, although the effect is spoiled by the cheap green lettering out front.
