This noodle bar to the west of New Century Sq serves up some fine and filling noodles: aim for the oil-splashed noodles (油泼面, yóupōmiàn; small/big ¥12/14) for flavoursome noodles with diced spring onions, or the tomato and egg noodles (番茄鸡蛋面, fānqié jīdànmiàn; small/big ¥13/15), but there are many more. Most noodles come either dry (干拌, gānbàn) or in soup (汤面, tāngmiàn).
The restaurant also sells ròujiāmó (肉夹馍, ¥8 to ¥10), meat-stuffed bread pockets rather like pulled-pork hamburgers. And if you ever wanted pig's ear, now's your chance (猪耳朵, zhū ĕrduo; ¥30 a serving).
