Perched in the hills above San Juan Bautista, with sweeping ocean views, is the island's most surprising attraction: an award-winning microbrewery. Archipiélago beers owe their smooth finish to the fresh island water from which they're made. Tastings of amber, wheat, lager and stout take place on a sprawling deck and come with delicious local pairings, including ceviche, empanadas and dessert.
To reach the microbrewery from the plaza, head up La Pólvora, turn right onto Pasaje Juan Fernández and walk 150m on the dirt path until it ends.
