Don't be put off by the nine-language menu; locals rate this place as one of the best in town, and the owner, who’s quite a character, could talk the hind legs off a donkey. It serves an excellent array of seafood and traditional Canarian and mainland meat dishes, including succulent rabbit stew, excellent lamb shoulder and whole suckling pig (with a day's advance notice).
Finish off your meal with the complimentary homemade honey rum tipple.
