The bright-orange decor is a curious design choice for Pastelería Díaz, once voted one of the top 20 patisseries in Spain by a national newspaper. However, the mini-bocadillos (sandwiches), pastries and coffees are superb, as attested by the long-standing popularity of this place and periodic difficulty in getting a seat here.
