Run by the ever-helpful and astonishingly polite Demian, this excellent restaurant enjoys a lovely setting with an outside terrace, next to a deserted plot that La Jaira has converted into a garden. Staff ferry a large wooden menu for you to read but the menú del día (daily set menu) is very good value at €12. Everything from the bread to the craft beers is an unalloyed joy.
Expect superb tapas and, on the menú del día, such treats as creamy vegetable soup, delightful steamed hake and, for postre, yummy banana purée. Dishes arrive with three different varieties of olive oil and salt. Top notch.
