The campground at Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park is located in the shady valley alongside Milk River and has just 67 sites (three of them 'comfort camping' in raised, furnished tents). It's popular on weekends. Running water, showers and flush toilets are available in summer, but the facilities are often closed in winter.
