Trailside Cafe & Inn

Top choice in Prince Edward Island

This stomping venue is one of the best places in eastern PEI to catch some live music – owners Pat and Meghann are passionate music lovers, and they attract top artists to their nighttime performances. The shingled building, dating from 1897, makes an intimate space, and you can dine on pizzas, cheese and charcuterie platters while you enjoy the show.

There are also four rooms upstairs. If you can't make a dinner show, try and catch the Hillsborough River Gospel Brunch ($22), held on summer Sundays in July and August.
