Designed by the Polish-Canadian architect Victor Prus in 1971, the 'Great Theater' is Québec City’s main performing-arts center, with a steady diet of top-quality classical concerts, opera, dance and theater. Major companies that are based or perform here regularly include the Opéra de Québec, the Orchestre Symphonique de Québec and the Théâtre du Trident.
