Bello Ristorante

Québec City

Luc Ste-Croix, former student of French master chef Paul Bocuse, brings his passion for Italian cuisine to this stylish and very welcoming eatery near Porte St-Louis. The vast menu ranges from wood-fired pizzas and scrumptious risottos to Parmesan veal scaloppini. Save room at dessert-time for tiramisu ($12), made the right way with real mascarpone.

What we really like is that pastas can be ordered as full ($17 to $34) or half-portions ($10 to $21). Excellent lunch set menu at a budget-busting $16.
