Icefield Tent Campground

Jasper National Park

Jasper's sole tent-only campground, a mere 1.5km from the Columbia Icefield, is surprisingly welcoming despite its chilly high-country location and proximity to the tour bus hubbub. Its 33 first-come, first-served sites, including walk-in and disabled-accessible units, are relatively secluded from the parkway, in a forested setting by a rushing creek. Facilities are limited to dry toilets and drinking water.
