HI Athabasca Falls Wilderness Hostel

This hostel in the woods 1km down the Icefields Parkway from Athabasca Falls welcomes guests with a big alpine-style kitchen–sitting area, heated dorms in separate wooden cabins, and two private cabins sleeping up to six. There’s no running water and the toilets are in outhouses, earning the place a ‘rustic’ tag – but other features compensate, including solar electricity.
