Posing as a smarter, more private version of a hostel, Canada’s first capsule hotel is based on the Japanese model, offering bed-sized ‘pods’ equipped with double futons, privacy curtains, individual air-con units, reading lights, lockers and mirrors. Colorfully tiled showers, powder rooms and loos are shared, but kept scrupulously clean.
Add in a happening bar/restaurant, ample gear storage and young, helpful staff and you’ve got a rare Whistler bargain bang in the center of the village.
