Despite being conceived by an expat Scotsman in New Westminster in 1894, BC’s quintessential tea merchant has become a Victoria staple with the company establishing its flagship location at this busy downtown shop and cafe in 1984. You can get unfussy, relatively economical tea and scones here along with robust paninis and creamy cakes.
The adjacent shop does a roaring trade in loose-leaf tea (measured out with metal scoops) and tea-cozies.
