It's still possible to sniff the essence of the 1970s at the Royal Scot, one of the better midrange options crowding the banks of the Inner Harbour, where lacy curtains and patterned carpets have never gone out of fashion. But, fear not, this is a spotlessly maintained place with mostly large rooms and a friendly welcome.
Rooms come in a variety of configurations, some with full kitchens. A free local shuttle service is available, plus you've got access to a pool, gym, gift shop and on-site restaurant (Jonathan's). Expect lots of cruise-ship seniors in the lobby.
