Pulpfiction Books East

Vancouver

The smallest of Pulpfiction's miniempire of three Vancouver bookstores, this spartan-looking shop has little decoration but lots of well-stocked wooden bookshelves. And what that shows, of course, is that it really is all about the books here. This is an easy spot to while away an hour of browsing, and it's almost impossible not to find something you want to buy.

If you're a fast reader, you can try to resell your purchase back to the store before you leave for home: it has an active book-buying program (although apparently not very keen on anything by Dan Brown).
