This idyllic place – a former logging resort – has a clutch of 12 comfortable, well-maintained cabins along a forested riverbank. The owners also run year-round rafting and eagle-viewing trips (adult/child $119/79).
The well-loved on-site cafe, Fergie's has partially reopened since sustaining fire damage. It traditionally serves potent coffee and fortifying breakfasts.
The resort is near Brackendale, 14km north of Squamish.
