Fish Tales Cafe

Vancouver Island

Anglophilia is alive and well in this diminutive timber-framed restaurant where fish-and-chips and mushy peas are served against a backdrop of model ships, Union Jack tea towels and horse brasses. It’s understandably popular with UK expats who sit around reminiscing about their school days.

You don't have to be British to appreciate the steak and mushroom pie and sticky toffee pudding (but it helps).
