Clean, comfortable and pleasant, this helpful hostel is one of the only options for budget-minded travelers downtown, with fairly standard bunk rooms and a few doubles. It has a kitchen, laundry, pool table and internet facilities, as well as a patio with a barbecue. It's a popular crossroads for travelers and a good place to organize rides and share recommendations.
Compared to other hostels in the area, this is a tight ship, with little leeway for those who want to smoke (whatever herb that may be!), drink or be wild and crazy until 4am. It's open 24 hours, but quiet time is from 11pm to 7am, which means you'll actually be able to sleep. God forbid you're here trying to get work done, but if so, you'll find the days are almost library quiet and the common areas have lots of places to plug in sans distractions.
