Banff Town

Banff gets hip with a microdistillery to complement its microbrewery, plying spirits (gin, vodka and whiskey) and beer made from Alberta's foothills' grain. It all goes down perfectly with a mesquite beef hoagie, fish tacos or anything off the excellent appetizer menu. Cocktails are creative, fun and ever-changing.

Big, bright and open, but with a cabin feel to it, this place has a glass wall that lets you see the brew masters at work. Weather permitting, you can decamp to a roped-off streetside patio or Banff Ave's finest 1st-floor deck. It's huge, but popular.
