Down a dirt road from laid-back Wat Kor village, Battambang Resort is a place to unwind in style. Surroundings include ponds with lily pads, tropical gardens and rice fields, while the interior common spaces feature Cambodian art and cultural artefacts and are slung with hammocks. Service is top-notch. The fine restaurant draws many ingredients from an on-site garden.
There's a free shuttle to town, but many guests prefer to just relax around the saltwater pool.
