This perennial Mercado Central favorite earns its name (meaning 'Full House'), with lines regularly stretching out the door. Behind the counter, a bevy of women prepare traditional favorites on a giant stove, including pratos do dia (low-priced daily specials) such as the not-to-be-missed Saturday feijoada (Brazil's classic bean-and-meat stew).
