Rita Maria Lagosteria

Occupying one of Florianópolis' first colonial homes and the former abode of the faith healer Rita Maria, this crotchety old maritime-themed restaurant specializes in crustaceans, moquecas (seafood stews) and seafood rices. Local chef Narbal Corrêa does wonders with fat, juicy shrimp, lobster and octopus, despite the overeager historical promotion.
