Le Flâneur Hostel

Centro & the Mainland

Don't let the Agronômica location between a Petrobras gas station and a prison deter you, this cycling-themed hostel is well run, well appointed and well positioned for quick access to Lagoa de Conceicão and the North Island. Dorms come in two-, four- and eight-bed configurations, some with living rooms, huge bathrooms and a hammock (mixed) or bathtubs (female). Hangout spaces are artsy and spacious.

The public cafe, open Wednesday to Friday, features a leafy interior garden. Catch buses 221, 133, 135 or 137 from TICEN.
