Casa das Dunas

The biggest thing to happen in São Luís since sliced picanha (steak), this massive, architecturally stunning entertainment complex opened in 2015. Overlooking Praia do Calhau, it's equal parts bar and live-music venue, and a good bet for DJs, MPB (Música Popular Brasileira) and forró (popular Northeastern music). Attracts national acts as well.
