Alphaiate

The most happening of several bistros in this middle section of Boa Viagem, Alphaiate is a bit hectic for a meal but is a good place for a drink. It has an expansive air-conditioned interior but the best crowd-watching action goes on at the wooden tables packed onto the sidewalk. Stocks a decent selection of Portuguese, Argentine and Chilean wines.
