Ilha dos Aquários is traditionally a good party, probably because of the novelty of the aquariums and its river-island setting (reachable by boats from the port on party nights). The beginning of the evening is family-friendly and the party begins once the kids head home. You'll see lots of places to get tickets around town, including most hotels.
