Albergaria Hostel

This cheerful, well-located, well-run hostel has very good facilities, including a backyard with a pool, plus a sociable atmosphere helped along by the friendly English-speaking owner. There are separate-sex and mixed four-bed dorms (with privacy curtains and lockers with electrical outlets) and four good private rooms with bathroom, although some are cold water only. Breakfast is plentiful. Reservations only.
