However you get your tambaqui (perhaps the tastiest of all Amazonian fish) prepared here – stewed, grilled, ribs – the execution is perfect. They serve all manner of other fish and steak dishes, and fab desserts too. The atmosphere is casual, the service attentive and the cooking top-notch. It will be one of the best meals you'll have in the Amazon.
Even once you factor in the taxi fare both ways, it's terrific value.
