Hotel Manaós

One of Manaus' oldest hotels, though you'd never know from the modern (if a little stark) rooms and updated amenities. Newer bedding, bathrooms and air-con lend comforts, while the creaky old elevator and the ’70s-style lobby are lingering reminders of the hotel's past. The location is ideal: it's around the corner from Praça Sebastião; some rooms overlook the opera house.
