Hotel Colonial Manaus

This is one of the better non-hostel budget options, though it's not perfect. Occupying a renovated colonial home, front rooms have high ceilings and rich wood floors, but noise from the front desk can be annoying. Rear rooms (especially those with windows) are better. Breakfast is in a tiny dining room below reception. It's a gritty area, especially at night.
